MIYAVI - New Double-A Digital Single + Japan Tour Announced

Great news for MIYAVI fans! The samurai guitarist made two important announcements recently!

The first announcement is that he will be releasing a double A-side digital single later this month, to follow his 2016 theme of "NEW BEAT, NEW FUTURE"! The digital single is called Afraid To Be Cool / Raise Me Up. The single will be released on April 29 worldwide.

"Afraid To Be Cool" has already gotten some fame as it has been recently used as the theme song for Japan's ASAHI DRY ZERO's commercial starring golfer Ishikawa Ryo. "Raise Me Up" will also not disappoint since it will be a track described as progressive and full of high energy. Also included in the digital single will be remixes from the talents of upcoming artists Jonny Dope from Los Angeles and Seiho from Japan.

Starting on April 13, pre-orders for the single has begun. Below is the track-listing:

In addition, MIYAVI has also revealed to his fans the music video teaser for "Raise Me Up". With the collaborative help of creator Fantasia Utamaro,  known for his work in the fashion, illustration and design worlds, the teaser reveals to fans that MIYAVI has indeed entered into a brand new era of music and style. The second announcement is that MIYAVI will tour Japan once again this fall. The tour is called "NEW BEAT, NEW FUTURE", and will visit 10 different venues for shows. Below are the dates and venues!
